Course description:

This program combines the theories and skills of counseling psychology with organizational theory, design and development in order to prepare graduates for positions in business and industry, especially in organizational psychology and the related areas of personnel management, team building, performance enhancement, executive coaching, organizational development, training, and employee assistance programs.

Entry requirements:

Applicants must have baccalaureate degree or the equivalent from an accredited institution with grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate and graduate course work. The equivalent of twelve semester credit hours in psychology with grades of “C” or better. These courses should include general or introductory psychology, abnormal psychology, theories of personality, and research methods. Applicants must have scores on the paper-based TOEFL of 550 and computer-based TOEFL of 213.

Application forms can be completed online or mailed to the Office of Admissions. The Application fee is $50 (non refundable) Transcripts should be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Official transcripts from each undergraduate and graduate school attended along with three letters of recommendation, recommendation forms and Resume or curriculum vitae are needed. Proof of English proficiency and Proof of financial support are also required to be sent to the Admissions Office, Chicago Campus, 65 East Wacker Place, Suite 2100, Chicago, IL 60601-7298.
