The university is really good and the fees is also very less. I would definitely recommend it to future students.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I had to take up GRE and TOEFL for admission to the university. I prepared from Net, books, joined test series at a coaching centre. I needed a F1 visa. The interview was easier than I expected. Airline Tickets are easy to get, I flew Air India and landed at New York airport. There was no Meet or Greet as airport is far off from campus.

There are scholarships available as it is a state univ. It is tough for intl students to get scholarships.

I am quite satisfied with the way the program is progressing. The Profs are good but teaching assistants sometimes are not that excellent. Lecture halls good, library is huge.

I live off campus. Sports facility are there. Part time is easy to get. Weather is cold, it goes -10 during winters. There are numerous associations at the university. They conduct orientation, get together, etc.

There is no placement cell at the university. Job prospects for international students is pretty much average, it depends on ur GPA.
